“Proof that Islam is the truth” [9] : Scientific Facts in the Quran (Part 2)

Assalamaleykum Arahmatullahi va Barakatu. Welcome to the proof that Islam is the Truth. Where in these articles we’ve been discussing some of the amazing scientific miracles of the Quran. Information in a book 1400 years old & every Muslim believes is the uncreated word of Allah the creator of the heavens & the Earth revealed for the benefit & the guidance of all humanity. But it’s not just the claim that we make. It’s something that we can back up with evidence & we believe that for any rational human being, any thinking person who takes the time & takes the energy & takes the effort to look at these evidences & examine them dispassionately will come to know that truly Islam is what it claims to be: the religion that has been revealed by God, the Creator for the guidance & the benefit of all the mankind.

And in our last article we were talking about some amazing facts in the Quran concerning the Universe, how the Quran had described the Universe as expanding, that the Universe has a common origin & that the Universe that we know it a as today was formed out of a gaseous mass. And how all of this information was only discovered recently. Lets look at some more verses of the Quran concerning cosmology. One of the verses we want to mention is that Allah is the one who created the night & the day, the Sun & Moon. Each one is travelling in an orbit with its own motion. Now it’s interesting that the Arabic word referring to movement with self-propelled motion is the verb “sabaha” & “yeswaboona” is what the actual text mentions.

Now this implies the motion that comes from body in question itself. So if it takes place in water it means to swim, if it means on land it means to walk. So the implication is the movement is coming from the body itself. So if it was talking about something in space it would mean to rotate, it would itself rotate. Now this is amazing. The Quran is talking 1400 years ago about the Earth & the Moon & the Sun rotating. If you are perhaps thinking that the Sun is static – it’s not. The Sun as does the Earth, as does the Moon they all rotate. Of course the Earth however rotates around the Sun, the Sun rotates around its own axes. So it is quite correct a saying & of course the Earth is in orbit round the Sun, & also by the way the Sun is also in orbit. But it is in orbit round the centre of the galaxy.

In fact it is believed that ultimately if the Sun keeps going in its orbit it would ultimately end in what is known as the solar apex, a sort of position that it would end up in the centre of the galaxy. So what we find here is that the Quran is talking about things that no one could really know this information 1400 years ago, it is scientifically accurate. the idea of the alternation of the night & the day, & of the spherical nature of the Earth is actually implied in the 31st sura & the 29th ayat of the Quran: “How you not seen how Allah merges the night into the day & the day into the night?” And in another verse the 39th chapter in the 5th ayat or the 5th verse the Quran mentions: “He coils the night upon the day & he coils the day upon the night. And this word is used in the Quran, in the original Arabic is “kowarra”. Kowarra in its original meaning means the action of coiling a turban around your head. Coiling a turban, so it describes kowarra, how the night & the day coils one round the other. And you can find that description of coiling a turban around your head. Turning a turban, so it describes kowarra how the night & the day coils one round the other.

And you can find that description of the interpenetration of one sector by another is expressed in the Quran just as if the concept of the Earth’s roundness had already been conceived at the time. Which is except for a few, there were a few philosophers who had theorised that the Earth was round but it was not really a generally accepted idea. But it is something that is implied in the Quran, & certainly we can gather this today from our present day knowledge. It’s a very another interesting aspect that in one place in the Quran the word that is used to describe the shape of the Earth is the same word that is used to describe the egg of the ostrich. Now looking at this globe for example you may imagine that the Earth is completely spherical.

But in reality that is not the case. The Earth is slightly misshaped, it is not a perfect sphere, & in fact slightly elongated, rather like an ostrich egg. So that it is incredible also that the Quran is describing that shape of the Earth. At least this is a possible interpretation of those verses. Certainly we can say that none of these things actually contradict present modern scientific knowledge. In fact if you think about it, if we were only to bring a book 1400 years old & you were to find absolutely no contradictions, & I don’t mean here to say that the Quran affirms anything. Let’s say it doesn’t affirm any scientific knowledge, let’s say it didn’t even pre-empt any scientific knowledge. Lets say there was nothing special in the Quran, which of course is not the case because I have spent a couple of articles showing you exactly how amazing the Quran is when it talks about aspects of the Universe & the world in which we live.

But let’s just say those things were not there. Let’s just say there was nothing that contradicted present day knowledge. That itself alone would be remarkable. Because the superstitions & the beliefs that people had 1400 years ago were remarkable. For example the ancient Greeks believed that the Milky Way, the Milky Way is the band of stars that you can see in the sky, in fact it constitutes our Galaxy. They believed that the Milky Way was produced when a particular Greek Goddess was breastfeeding her child, & the child bit her breast & the milk spilled out & that’s how the Milky Way got to be in the Universe. That’s their legend of how the Milky Way came to be there. Of course today you’ll probably will have a good laugh at that & how totally ridiculous it is. How come the Quran does not have any stories like that? How come the Quran does not have any fantastical descriptions of the origin of the Universe & the Earth? We find it doesn’t. We find that what it says can be perfectly, easily & sensibly reconciled with modern scientific knowledge. No. Indeed many of the verses pre-empt what scientists have discovered today.

As earlier  mention today,we were talking about some of the amazing scientific facts in the Quran that have been only discovered recently with modern scientific knowledge. Yet these things were mentioned in a book 1400 years old. Let’s look at some more of the amazing statements in the Quran. In the tenth sura in the fifth ayat, the fifth verse it’s said: “It is He”, meaning God, Allah, “who made the Sun a shining lamp & the moon as a light & measured out their stages.” Now the Quran describes the Sun as “siradge”. Now the word “siradge ” means torch, means, it’s something that generates its own heat & light, whereas the Moon is described as “anoor”. Now “anoor” means a light that is originating from another source. And of course this is the correct understanding. The Moon reflects the light of the Sun.

It’s common knowledge today but not necessarily so in the time of the Prophet Muhammad. Let’s see what one of the respected cosmologists & scientists in the field of astronomy had to say when he was shown some of the statements in the Quran concerning his field of expertise. Yushidi Kusa who is a director of the Tokyo observatory in Tokyo in Japan. And this is what he said: “I say, I am very much impressed by finding true astronomical facts in the Quran, and for us modern astronomers who have been studying a very small piece of the universe. We have concentrated our efforts for understanding that very small part. Because by using telescopes, we can only see a very few parts of the sky without thinking about the whole universe.

So by reading the Quran and by answering to questions, I think I can find my future way for investigating of the universe.” What he is saying is that the one who is writing the Quran, the one who is revealing the Quran, the one who is speaking the words of the Quran is talking as if he is looking at the whole Universe together. as opposed to the scientists who concentrate on observing this bit or that bit of the Universe which is what most astronomers do. Who is it that sees the whole Universe altogether? Who is it who sees all things in all places in all times except Allah, the mighty, the wise? So these are some of the amazing scientific facts & we are going to move on also to another area that particularly interested me, because when I was at school one of the subjects that I studied was geography & a sub subject of that was of course geology.

And I do remember when I first read the Quran twenty years ago, and it was reading the Quran that motivated me to embrace Islam, one of the things that stuck in my head & I remember it until today was coming across the descriptions in the Quran of mountains. So let’s go through some of the things the Quran says about mountains. For example in the 78th sura in verses six to seven Allah says: “Have We not made the Earth an expanse & the mountains stakes?” The word that is used here is “otad”, “otad” meaning stake is like the peg of the tent. So the peg of the tent goes into the ground, it holds the rope that holds the tent, so you have a small part of the peg sticking up from the ground but the majority of the peg is inside the ground. The Quran also says in the 31st sura or the 31st chapter in the 10th verse: “And Allah has cast into the mountains standing firm so that it does not shake with you.” Now today with modern sonar technology they have been able to bounce sound waves down through the Earth’s crust. And according to different rates according to which the sound waves are reflected back & are measured they can tell the different density in the Earth’s crust as supposed to what is hard & what is soft.

What is from the crust & what is from the magna? And what they have discovered with this technology is exactly what the Quran was saying 1400 years ago. That the mountains have roots, the mountains like the peg of the tent, not only do they go up, go above the Earth surface, the mountains go deeply into the Earth core. And they act it has been theorised as stabilisers; they help to stabilise the Earth surface. And there are two ways in which they do that. Number one because the Earth is composed of tectonic plates. The crust of the Earth is actually made of different plates. And it is the movement of these plates that causes earthquakes. When these plates move against each other the friction of that movement causes earthquakes.

And that’s also what they think how continental drift has happened; originally they believe all the continents were one continent & that because of plate tectonics it moved. But the Quran is saying is that mountains act as stabilisers, they help to stabilise the Earth’s crust & this is something that has actually been theorised by modern geologists. There is another way in which the mountains may act as a stabilising factor. That is to do with the rotation. May be if you try & spin something you will find that if it is not really spherical it will not, it will start to rotate & then it will start to wobble out of shape. And it is possible that the mountains actually act as a counterbalance to keep the Earth’s rotation smooth. i do stress of course that these are theories but it is very interesting what the Quran is saying 1400 years ago & that it seems to be pre-empting the ideas & the knowledge that is being produced by modern day science. Certainly it is a fact that is established that the mountains have roots & the Quran is saying that mountains are like “otad”, the pegs of a tent. So this is a remarkable scientific fact. It’s one I remember sticking in my mind when I first read the Quran about 20 years ago. So these are one of the remarkable things.

Also the Quran mentions some aspects of animal or plant life. For example the 16th chapter of the Quran is called sura an-Nahl which means the sura of the bee. And one of the aspects of the Quran, in this sura it is talking about the bee. And it’s very interesting that the word that is used in the Quran for the bee that flies around gathering honey or gathering the nectar for the honey it is used in the female form. The gender that is used is feminine. Although until recently it was believed that the bees were actually soldiers, they were males, & the ruler of the hive was a king. But as it happens in fact we know that the bees are indeed female & they are owned or they are headed by a queen. That’s why we are saying the queen bee.

It’s also true that the Quran mentions that plants have different genders & the winds are a means of fertilisation for the plants. So in the 15th chapter of the Quran in the 22nd verse it says that “We”, meaning the Allah, the Creator, this is the We of nobility, it does not mean that there is more than one God of course, it is We in the sense that Royalty uses the term “we” it’s a sense of honour & nobility, so the “Royal We” they call it, “We sent forth the winds that fesantei” that means that they fertilise things. These are all recently discovered things. Also we find the Greek philosopher Democritus who lived from 460 to 361 BC. He advanced the theory that matter was composed of tiny indivisible particles called atoms.

And they believed that this was the base upon which all of things were made & there was nothing smaller than the atom. However modern science has discovered that atom is in fact devisable & the atom has been split & the atom itself is composed of smaller elements. The Quran says 1400 years ago in the 34th chapter & the 3rd ayat or the 3rd verse: “He is aware of an atoms weight in the Heavens & on the Earth & even anything smaller than that.” Meaning there is something smaller than atom, & Allah, God is aware of it, every single thing. There is another thing I want to mention.

God mentions in the Quran some amazing things about the human beings, & one of the things is about our nerves. Here is a very frightening & teriffying passage of the Quran. It’s mentioned of the 75th chapter in ayats 3 to 4: “Does not Mankind think that we can not assemble his bones. Nay we are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers.” God is telling us he can recreate us on this day, this terrifying day, this frightening day the Day of Judgement. he is able to recreate you even if you are dust, even your bones to the very tip of your finger. Why “the very tip of your finger”? Of course you’ve all heard of fingerprinting, haven’t you? Every single human being’s fingerprint is unique. Why did God mention the fingerprint? Why did God mention the tip of the finger? This is the uniqueness of the human being. God is telling us: “Look! I can recreate you even to this fingertip, that is the power that I have. Even to your most unique attribute – I can create you to that. Be mindful, be careful. I will create you again on the Day of Judgement & I will judge you & ask you about every single thing that you have done.

This is not common knowledge. How did anyone 1400 years ago know about fingerprinting? And Allah warns us in the 4th chapter of the Quran in the 56th verse: “Those who reject our signs, We shall soon cast them into the hellfire & as often as their skin is roasted through We shall change them for fresh skins, so they may truly taste the penalty, for Allah is exalted in power, the Wise.” This is a very frightening description of the Hellfire. God is going to burn the skin & recreate the skin & burn the skin, so that people in the hellfire will taste the punishment. Why is the Quran saying that? It’s only recently been known & discovered that when the skin is burnt a person does not feel any pain. That’s why when a person suffers severe burns a doctor will prick the skin to see if the person can feel the pain.

If he feels pain there are still nerve receptors left if he does not that means he skin has been so badly burnt he can not feel pain. So if God put people in the hellfire & the hell burnt their skins after that they will not feel the pain. so Allah is going to recreate the skin again so that they keep on tasting the punishment. It is a very severe warning from the One who has created you. He knows you better than you know yourself & He is warning you in His book of His knowledge & His ability that if you do not believe in Him & follow His guidance, see what is waiting for those people who reject the faith.

My dear listeners, we have only one more theme we want to mention. The tree of Zakoon which will be the food of sinners & it will be like boiling oil that will boil in their bellies like the boiling of scalding water. “Taste this” Allah says in the Quran, “verily you are pretending to be the Mighty, the generous.” Look at those Arabic people pretending to be mighty, pretending to be generous, but taste the zee tree of Zakoon that will boil in your belly. And it says they will drink water that cuts their bowel to pieces. It is very interesting. The thermal receptors are not present in the intestines but it is in the bowels. And the contents & the receptors in the bowels are highly sensitive. It’s a very-very sensitive area & that is where pain is initiated. It’s not a common knowledge 1400 years ago but it is a fact that is mentioned in the Quran as a stark warning to all those people who reject faith in God.

God has combined the scientific facts with the severe warnings of those who disbelieve in Him. Our invitation is to invite you to His mercy, to His guidance & His forgiveness by accepting these truths, the proof that Islam is the Truth. Join us in the next episode for some amazing prophesies of the Prophet Muhammad in the Quran. Until then may God’s peace & blessings & guidance be with you, Assalamaleykum Arahmatullahi va Barakatu.

Drops o Quantum Time 1

Drops of Quantum Time 1

Latest Models of the Universe

This article, because its length it will be divided in six parts. This first part is a foreshortening of models of the Universe. Then be reviewed certain antinomies of thought, paradoxes that undermine the logic, the uncertainties in physics and mathematics, the mysteries of the Theory of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics, numbers and other considerations.
One approach on the origin and structure of the Universe refers to the Quantum Theory of Gravity in Loop by Lee Smolin, a researcher at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Ontario. This theory seeks to quantize space and time. Space would be composed of a spin network whose nodes of this network represents a discrete minimum volume and equal to the cube of the Planck (Max Planck, 1858-1947) length (10-33 cm) which is equal to 10-99 cm3, and the lines correspond to areas of 10-66 cm2. Time is also discrete and its minimum value would be equal to the Planck time interval which value is 10-43 s. Time is defined by a spin foam that spreads slightly along with the spin networks, whereas the quantum of time would be like the click of an infinitesimal clock. This theory expects experimental verification by means of detectors mounted on satellites, such as the Hubble Space Telescope to detect bursts of gamma rays coming from distant cosmic explosion billions of light years away. Thus, the Universe would be formed by atoms of space and  atoms of time, leaving its current configuration of continuity. This model of the Universe leaves intact the general theory of relativity of Einstein, but introduces implements in quantum theory. ¨
The other approach is due to Gabriele Veneziano, a CERN theoretical physicist, who is the father of string theory. This theory suggests that the Universe of today did not originate in the primordial Big Bang but is a continuation of other past universes, hence it justifies an era before the Big Bang, that is the pre-Big Bang era. The Big Bang was just the rebound from a previous situation in which the Universe expands for a time before it, and then expands later in the same time, the rate of change of expansion would be opposite in the two moments. Thus the Big Bang can not have been the origin of the Universe, but a violent transition from acceleration to deceleration. This solve the problem of singularity in the standard model of Big Bang in which at that point the laws of physics fail due to infinite temperature and density. And so explain the high homogeneity and isotropy of the early Universe. Thus, the pre-Big Bang Universe would be a mirror image of the Universe after the Big Bang (our own). In this case the origin of time would not be in the singularity, but the origin of a black hole formed by the pre-Big Bang matter which would be contracted until the density, temperature, and curvature allowed by string theory, excluding the singularity of the Big Bang. It admits a time past and time future, because inside a black hole time and space change paper, ie the center of a black hole is not a point in space but an instant in time. Another scenario for the Big Bang would be the result of the Ekpyrotic model (conflagration), which suggests that our universe would be a multi-dimensional membrane, or ‘brane’, among others, floating in a space with many dimensions, and would have collided with another parallel in an eternal cycle of collisions and separations. These surfaces would be formed by infinitely thin strings whose vibrations correspond to the elementary particles known nowadays. String theory goes beyond the theory of loop quantum gravity, since it is a truly revolutionary change in the theory of Albert Einstein (1879-1955), ruling out the singularity of the Big Bang. This still await experimental verification in the future, as vestiges of the pre-Big Bang that may appear on galactic and intergalactic magnetic fields.
Likewise the conventional model of inflation, string theory incorporates another term, the axion, a quantum field of pre-Big Bang, related to the inflaton, a field that stores a tremendous potential energy that would be responsible for the outbreak of inflation cosmic occurred about 10-35 s after the Big Bang. The inflaton field is odd, because unlike the gravitational energy that attracts ordinary matter, it accelerates the cosmic expansion, a fact already observed in the present Universe. Thus, in the conventional theory, inflation or acceleration occurs after the Big Bang due to the inflaton field, already in pre-Big Bang scenario acceleration comes first.
Therefore, string theory suggests that the time had no beginning and will have no end, and the Universe began almost empty and would have built up to the Big Bang, or would have done cycles of death and rebirth ad nauseam (Scientific American 21 Paradoxes of Time).

The latest model of the universe is due to Petr Orava, a physicist at the University of California at Berkeley, also based on quantum gravity. He proposes a Universe where time is decoupled from space as in Newton’s theory, it is clear that this goes against Einstein’s general relativity in which space and time form an indissoluble tissue. This theory tries to explain the existence of mysterious dark energy that would be responsible for the accelerated expansion of the Universe, besides eliminating the inconvenience of the singularity of the Big Bang theory in which the laws of physics break down. It could also explain the dark matter associated with this dark energy that gives the impression that the galaxies have more matter than the supposed theory of relativity do. That dark matter fills most of the known universe, but has not been observed yet. Many physicists are skeptical of this theory regarding the separation spacetime of general relativity. Another model of quantum gravity shows that if it would happen the information would be transmitted at speeds faster than light, which contradicts experience and one of the postulates of the Special Theory of Relativity of Einstein (Scientific American Brasil, year 8, n0 92, January 2010).

Contemplating a 7 Dimension Theory of Everything

Is Life just a string of random chemical reactions and biological accidents or could there possibly be a theory of everything?

Frank Wilczek who is considered one of the world’s most eminent theoretical physicists has stated, “In recent months a different, much weaker notion of what a Theory of Everything might accomplish has gained ground, largely inspired by developments in string theory. In this concept, the Theory provides a unique set of equations, but those equations that have many solutions, which are realized in different parts of the Universe. One speaks instead of a multiverse, composed of many domains (dimensions), each forming a universe in itself, each with its own distinctive laws.”

Although I believe that the Universe and/ or the Mind of God is too mysterious, complex and constantly full of surprises to be boiled down to a simple formula for mankind to know, I have humbly attempted – just for fun – to take a stab at a Seven Dimensional Theory of Everything. Considering that the basic fundamental building blocks of our Universe appear to be based on 7 Dimensions and that health and wellness can be facilitated and mental and emotional healing can be enhanced by using alternative energy therapies, I propose the following Seven Dimensions theory that has helped me to better organize the information in my world and to better manage my own life.

When did it all Begin?

In the 17th-century, an Anglican Bishop by the name of James Ussher deduced that the first day of creation began at nightfall Sunday October 27, 4004 BC. Refinements by others further pinpointed this to 9 a.m. London time, or midnight in the Garden of Eden.  Not everyone was excited by Bishop Ussher’s proclamation that the universe had a beginning however, as most believed since Aristotle’s time that the universe had always existed. The motivation for believing in an eternal universe was the desire to avoid invoking divine intervention.  Conversely, those who believed that the universe had a beginning, used it as an argument for the existence of God, as the first cause, or prime mover of the universe.  If one believed that the universe had a beginning, the obvious question was -  “What happened before the beginning?” (Stephen Hawkins, 2007).

The Big Bang Theory

Identifying the exact date and time of the origin of the universe sounds quite incredible to me, but the dominant scientific theory of the origin of the universe today is the “Big Bang” theory – which specifically indicates a point in time that the universe began.   According to the Big Bang theory, the universe was created approximately 13.7 billion years ago from the random, cosmic explosion (or expansion) of a subatomic ball that hurled space, time, matter and energy in all directions. Everything – the whole universe — came from an initial speck of infinite density (also known as a “singularity”). This speck (existing outside of space and time) appeared from nowhere, for no reason, only to explode (start expanding) all of a sudden. Over a period of approximately 10 billion years, this newly created space, time, matter and energy evolved into remarkably-designed and fully-functional stars, galaxies and planets, including our earth.

In other words, everything that we see, hear, taste, touch, and smell today was created in a single micro-second by a fraction of an atom that instantaneously exploded the four known forces of nature – gravity, electromagnetism, and strong and weak nuclear forces. These forces evolved into space, time, matter and energy. This energy evolved into complex stars that eventually exploded their chemically rich guts – including the Seven most abundant chemicals in the universe: hydrogen, helium, oxygen, carbon, neon, iron and nitrogen – enriching pristine gas clouds with the chemistry of life into the galaxy – forming planetary systems (including planet earth) from the swirling elements.

To summarize then, the atoms that construct the molecules that make up our bodies – are traceable to the crucibles that were once the centers of the high mass stars. So we are all connected to each other biologically, to the earth chemically, and to the rest of the universe atomically. We are not just in the universe. We are part of the universe. We are in the universe and the universe is in us.

The “Big Bang” is a scientific theory, and as such stands or falls by its agreement with observations. But as a theory which addresses the origins of reality, it has always been entangled with theological and philosophical implications. In the 1920s and ’30s almost every major cosmologist preferred an eternal universe, and several complained that the beginning of time implied by the Big Bang imported religious concepts into physics; this objection was later repeated by supporters of the Steady State theory. This perception was enhanced by the fact that George Lemaitre, who put forth the Big Bang theory was a Roman Catholic priest. It is not my intention to get into a theological debate on the existence of God in this article, but to initially put forth some background information that seemingly supports a 7- Dimension theory of everything.

Background/ Historical Information

The following series of sevens may just be some coincidental information, but I find them to be very interesting and supportive of a 7 Dimensional theory of everything. Note: The items in each column relate to each other multi-dimensionally, but do not necessarily relate to each of the items in the rows.

A. Evolution: The Big Bang Theory appears to have seven distinct and interrelated phases, set by Science in the following order:
1. Cosmic Evolution. The development of space, time, matter and energy from nothing.
2. Stellar Evolution. The development of complex stars from the chaotic first elements.
3. Chemical Evolution. The development of all chemical elements from the original two (hydrogen & helium).
4. Planetary Evolution. The development of planetary systems from swirling elements.
5. Organic Evolution. The development of organic life from inorganic matter.
6. Macro-Evolution. The development of one kind of life from a totally different kind of life.
7. Micro-Evolution. The development of variations within the same kind of life.

B. Physics: The scientific inherent physical laws of the universe indicate that there are seven fundamental forces of nature, seven electromagnetic energies, and seven colors in the visible light spectrum – that when randomly mixed make up all colors, and when equally contained make up the white sun light.

Forces of Nature: 1. Applied Force, 2. Gravitational Force, 3. Normal Force, 4. Frictional Force, 5. Air Resistance Force, 6. Tension Force, 7. Spring Force

Electromagnetic Energies: 1. Gamma rays, 2. X-rays, 3. Ultraviolet (UV) rays, 4. Visible light rays, 5. Infrared radiation, 6. Micro-waves, 7. Radio waves.

Visible Light Spectrum: 1. Red, 2. Orange, 3. Yellow, 4. Green, 5. Blue, 6. Indigo, 7. Violet

C. International Measurement Units: The International System of Units (SI) defines Seven SI base units
for a set of physical quantities of measure, or dimensions, that are used to measure 7 basic physical
properties and that define all other SI units, known as SI derived units. The set of Seven SI basic units
consists of: 1. Metre – Length, 2. Kilogram – Mass, 3. Second – Time, 4. Ampere – Electrical Current,5. Kelvin – Temperature, 6. Mole – Quantity of Substance, 7. Candela – Luminous Intensity.

D. Electromagnetic Energies: Everything in the universe (including our bodies) are made of atoms that emit electromagnetic energy in the form of auras (colors) and that have string-like substances in them that are vibrating and emitting sound waves. Their are Seven auric bodies that surround our bodies, seven basic notes in music and seven musical vibrations that make up all music:

Auric Bodies: 1. Etheric, 2. Emotional, 3. Mental, 4. Astral, 5. Etheric Template, 6. Celestial, 7. Causal

Western Music Notes: 1. c, 2. d, 3. e, 4. f, 5. g, 6. a, 7. b

Vibrations: 1. Do, 2. Re, 3. Mi, 4. Fa, 5. Sol, 6. La, 7. Ti

E. Ancient Astronomy/ Astrology: Prior to the invention of the telescope, humans could see seven heavenly bodies (planets) with the naked eye that are traditionally called the Seven Classical Planets. They were named after the seven days of creation documented in the Judeo-Christian Bible which are our present seven day weekly schedule. The Zodiac signs are also aligned with the planets. There are Seven daughters of Atlas in the Pleiades, also called the “Seven Sister Stars.”

Classical Planets: 1. Sun, 2. Moon, 3. Mars, 4. Mercury, 5. Jupiter, 6. Venus, 7. Saturn

Week-days: 1. Sunday, 2. Monday, 3. Tuesday, 4. Wednesday, 5. Thursday, 6. Friday, 7. Saturday

Creation Days: 1st Day – Light, 2nd Day – Sky & Water, 3rd Day – Land & Seas, 4th Day – Sun, Moon & Stars, 5th Day – Fish & Birds, 6th Day – Animals, Man & Woman, 7th Day – God Rested

Zodiac Signs: 1. Gemini/ Cancer, 2. Taurus/ Leo 3. Aries/ Virgo, 4. Pisces/ Libra, 5. Aquarius/ Scorpio, 6. Saggitarius, 7. Capricorn

F. Geology: Ancient peoples not only studied the earth, but they also studied their Solar System and they ascribed seven corresponding metals and gem stones to each of the seven naked-eye planets.  It’s also interesting to note that our planet has seven continents, seven oceans and seven seas:

Elements: 1. Earth, 2. Water, 3. Fire, 4. Air, 5. Sound, 6. Light, 7. Thought

Metals: 1. Gold, 2. Silver, 3. Iron, 4. Mercury, 5. Tin, 6. Copper, 7. Lead

Continents: 1. Asia, 2. Africa, 3. North America, 4. South America, 5. Antartica, 6. Europe, 7. Australia

Oceans: 1. North Pacific, 2. South Pacific, 3. North Atlantic, 4. South Atlantic, 5. Indian, 6. Southern, 7. Arctic

Seas: 1. Persian, 2. Black, 3. Caspian, 4. Red, 5. Mediterranean, 6. Adriatic, 7. Arabian

G. Sacred Geometry: Some advanced ancient civilizations taught that sacred geometry held the blueprint of creation or the genesis of all form. They believed that it explained the energy patterns that create and unify all things and that on every scale, every natural pattern of growth or movement conformed to one or more geometric shapes. For example, the Seven tangent circles of the “Flower of Life” pattern creates a hexagon shape that represents one of natures most stable forms seen in convection cells of water, the bees honey comb, and even on planet Saturn’s north pole. Others believe that sacred geometric wisdom was responsible for the advanced technology of the ancient civilizations that designed the pyramids in Egypt, China, Machu Picchu, Nubia, Bosnia, and Mesoamerica. Some believe that this advanced technology was passed down from a super-human race of aliens/ angels (gods & goddesses) that intermarried with the beautiful women of the earth to produce off-spring that were giant-like gods (prior to the Great Food of Noah’s time). These half-human, half-god-like creatures were worshipped as gods (for example: Greek mythical Gods), and that this practice evolved into the polytheistic religions such as Hinduism.

H. Ancient Religions: The Romans, Greeks, and Hindus named their Gods and Goddesses after the Seven Classical Planets and our present week days.

Roman Gods: 1. Sol, 2. Luna, 3. Mars, 4. Mercurius, 5. Jupiter, 6. Venus, 7. Saturnus

Greek Gods: 1. Helios, 2. Selene, 3. Ares, 4. Hermes, 5. Zeus, 6. Aphrodite, 7. Chronos

Hindu Gods: 1. Surya, 2. Chandra, 3. Mangal, 4. Budha, 5. Guru, 6. Sukra, 7. Shani

I. Ancient Knowledge: Paracelsus (born Phillp von Hohenheim, in Switzerland in1493) – was the Father of Alchemy (the universal science of the time that developed what were to be the disciplines of biology, medicine, chemistry, physics and astronomy as well as psychology and philosophy).  He believed that the universe’s macrocosm was represented in every person as a microcosm. According to the insights at the time, there were Seven planets in the sky, and Seven Chakras in Man that were closely interrelated with the natural and social sciences. In the 5th Century AD, Martianus Capella academically defined the seven Liberal Arts as: grammar, dialectic, rhetoric, geometry, arithmetic, astronomy, and music.

Natural Sciences: 1. Astronomy, 2. Physics, 3. Chemistry, 4. Biology, 5. Geology, 6. Ecology, 7. Meteorology

Social Sciences: 1. Anthropology, 2. History, 3. Education, 4. Sociology, 5. Economics, 6. Psychology, 7. Linguistics

Liberal Arts: 1. Grammar, 2. Rhetoric, 3. Logic, 4. Geometry, 5. Arithmetic, 6. Music, 7. Astrology

Chakras: 1. Root, 2. Sexual, 3. Solar Plexus, 4. Heart, 5. Throat, 6. Forehead, 7. Crown

J. Eastern Spirituality: The word Chakra is Sanskirt (Hindu scriptures) for wheel and signifies one of seven basic energy centers in the human body that correspond to nerve ganglia branching out from the spinal column, as well as states of consciousness, developmental stages of life, archetypal elements, body functions, colors, and much, much more. They were first written down between 1200 – 900 BC, but had been passed down orally for approximately 1000 years prior to that. During the last 2000 years countless alchemists’ in India, China, Egypt, Europe, and those involved in eastern philosophies have used this holistic knowledge as a template for transformation. There are Seven worlds in the universe, seven seas in the world and seven gurus in Hindu mythology.

Energies: 1. Physical, 2. Sexual, 3. Ego, 4. Social, 5. Creative, 6. Mental, 7. Spiritual

Consciousness: 1. Self-preservation, 2. Self-gratification, 3. Self-definition, 4. Self-acceptance, 5. Self-expression, 6. Self-reflection, 7. Self-knowledge

K. Western Spirituality: Alchemists believed that life energy is closely related to the ‘light of the seven planets.’ They proclaimed that everything on earth emerges from the rays or energies of these planets. Like a prisma, the planets divide the divine ‘light of creation’ into seven qualities related to the seven chakras to promote inner maturity, the development of consciousness, and spiritual healing. The most famous alchemical illustration of chakras and their planetary influences was conceived by Johann Georg Gichtel (1638 0 1710). In his illustration Gichtel arranged the seven classical planets on the human body and assigned each of them to one of the seven vices or deadly sins, such as pride, stinginess and jealousy (below) to compare them with the Seven Virtues for spiritual transformation.

Sins: 1. Lust, 2. Gluttony, 3. Laziness, 4. Envy, 5. Greed, 6. Anger, 7. Pride

Virtues: 1. Purity, 2. Temperance, 3. Diligence, 4. Kindness, 5. Charity, 6. Patience, 7. Humility

L. World Religions: According to David Barrett et al, editors of the “World Christian Encyclopedia: A
comparative survey of churches and religions – AD 30 to 2200,” there are 19 major world religions. In the year 2000, eight of these major religions had approximately 80% of the world’s population adhering to their beliefs. Agnostics and atheists account for approximately 19% of the world’s population and the rest of the world’s religions including Judaism make up the last 1%.

Most of the worlds’ religions do not fit neatly into little boxes, however, if we count the atheist and agnostic groups – they can be theoretically divided into Seven categories:

1. Atheist/ Agnostic groups
2. Non-theistic Religions – The belief or faith not in God or Gods, but in supreme enlightenment: (Example: Buddhism)
3. Pantheistic Religions – The belief that God and nature are one: (Example: Taoism, Animism, etc.)
4. Monotheistic Religions – The doctrine or belief that there is only one God:
(Example: Sikhism and the Abrahamic religions: Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc.)
5. Dualistic Religions – The belief that there are only two opposing Gods or two interacting forces: (Example: Zoroastrianism/ Taoism Yin/ Yang etc.)
6. Polytheistic Religions – The worship of or belief in many Gods or Goddesses: (Example: Hinduism, Shintoism, etc.)
Polyreligiousity – Having beliefs in multiple religion simultaneously (Example: Chinese Folk Religion/ New Asian Religions that combine Confucianism/ Buddhism/ Shintoism)

M. Monotheistic Religions: It’s interesting to note that approximately 81% of the people on this earth
believe in a God or many Gods (minus the 19% that are agnostics and atheists), and that 66% believe in one God.

For thousands of years, the Holy Scriptures in the Judaic and Christian Bible and in the Islamic Koran have taught that there is One God. The Bible teaches that Melchizedek is the mysterious Eternal and Royal High Priest and King of Peace of all monotheistic religions – of which all subsequent religions evolved. All are called to be part of the Holy Nation and Royal Priesthood. The Apostle Paul devoted a whole chapter in the Bible to comparing Jesus to Melchizedek – repeating that Jesus was a High Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. Some believe that Melchizedek was the appearance on earth of the pre-incarnate Christ in a temporary bodily form.

The book of Isaiah 11:2 specifically identifies the Seven Spirits of God: “The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him – the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.” This verse proclaims the seven spirits of God…(1) Spirit of the LORD, (2) Spirit of wisdom, (3) Spirit of understanding, (4) Spirit of counsel, (5) Spirit of power, (6) Spirit of knowledge, (7) Spirit of the fear of the Lord. The Bible teaches that their are Seven basic Gifts and Seven fruits of the Holy Spirit.  In the book of Romans we are called to be faithful to the gift given us.  Not everybody has the same gift, but God distributes the gifts among the body, that we may all have a part in building up the body.  In Romans 12:6-8, Paul lists the seven basic gifts.

In Islamic tradition, there are Seven Heavens, Seven fires in Hell, and Seven doors to hell. Below, I have listed the Seven Spirits of God, the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the Seven Fruits of the Holy Spirit with the Seven levels of Heaven according to the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic Holy Scriptures.

In the Judaism tradition, Seven is a highly spiritual number representing Godliness, and there are Seven days of passover, Seven days of purification, and the Seven branched candelabrum or Menorah.

N. Intelligences/ Vocational Interests: It’s also interesting to see a connection between Howard Gardner’s Seven Intelligences, the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and John Holland’s vocational interest theory that teaches that most people are one of six personality types: realistic, enterprising, artistic, social, conventional, and investigative.

Intelligences: 1. Kinesthetic (Body-Smart), 2. Intra-personal (Self-Smart), 3. Visual/ Spatial (Picture-Smart), 4. Interpersonal (People-Smart), 5. Logical/ Math (Logic-Smart), 6. Verbal/ Linguistic (Word-Smart), 7. Musical (Music-Smart)

Vocational Types: 1. Realistic, 2. Enterprising, 3. Artistic, 4. Social, 5. Conventional, 6. Investigative, 7. (Ministry – Not identified by John Holland).

O. Technology: There are Seven tools of Quality, Seven logic gates, Seven layers in the Open System Interconnection Reference Model’s (OSI) computer network design, Seven individual segments in the seven-segment electronic device display, and Seven classes of plastics.

Quality Tools: 1. Fishbone diagram, 2. Pareto chart, 3. Check sheet, 4. Control chart, 5. Flow chart, 6. Histogram, 7. Scatter diagram

Plastics: 1. PET, 2. PE-HD, 3. PVC, 4. PE-LD, 5. PP, 6. PS, 7. O

P. Philosophy: Based on the types of questions that it asked, Philosophy can be divided into Seven different groups. Below is a list of these groups with some related questions. Any possible list of answers to these and other questions within these categories can be called a ‘philosophy’.

1. Ontology – What is reality?
2. Philosophy of mind/ religion – What is a mind / consciousness? Is there a God?
3. Epistemology – What is knowledge?
4. Ethics – What is right and wrong / What is good and bad?
5. Aesthetics – What is beauty?
6. Logic – What is truth?
7. Anxiology – What has value?

Q. Psychology: Many psychological approaches have been developed in an attempt to explain human behavior related to specific life-functioning dimensions, each emphasizing one aspect of personality or another.

Psychological Theories: 1. Behavioral, 2. Psychodynamic, 3. Social Learning, 4. Psycho-social, 5. Behavioral Economics, 6. Cognitive-behavioral, 7. Moral

Major Psychological Theorists: 1. B.F. Skinner, 2. Sigmund Freud, 3. Albert Bandura, 4. Eric Erikson, 5. Daniel Kahneman, 6. Aaron, Beck, 7. Lawrence Kohlberg

Psychological Needs: 1. Safety, 2. Enjoyment, 3. Power, 4. Love, 5. Expression, 6. Self-actualization, 7. Wholeness

R. Medicine:Modern science has established that the human bodies’ systems (e.g., nervous, endocrine, immune, etc.), must all contribute to a homeostatic system.  The bodies systems work together to maintain a balanced environment or equilibrium. When we are are feeling sick, our life energy cannot flow in and out freely and the physical body may suffer from stress.  An unhealthy diet, lack of exercise, substance abuse, isolation from family and friends and disconnection from our higher power may all contribute to decreasing our energy levels and further contributing to our unhealthy conditions. A multi-dimensional system can be correlated with Seven levels of health, Seven Abnormalities, Seven Glands and the bodies organ systems.

Health: 1. Physical, 2. Self-regulation, 3. Occupational, 4. Social, 5. Financial, 6. Mental, 7. Spiritual

Abnormalities: 1. Physical Suffering, 2. Irrationality/ Unpredictability, 3. Maladaptiveness, 4. Socially disconnected, 5. Societal Violations, 6. Emotional deviancy, 7. Spiritually disconnected

Glands: 1. Adrenal, 2. Gonads, 3. Pancreas, 4. Thymus, 5. Thyroid, 6. Pituitary, 7. Pineal

Organ Systems: 1. Skeletal/ Skin, 2. Reproductive, 3. Gastrointestinal, 4. Cardiovascular, 5. Respiratory, 6. Nervous/ Endocrine, 7. Immune/ Lymph

Senses: 1. Smell, 2. Taste, 3. Vision, 4. Touch, 5. Hearing, 6. Individual Consciousness, 7. Universal Consciousness

S. The Nobel Prize-winning biologist David Baltimore devised the Baltimore classification system comprised of Seven groups of viruses: 1. dsDNA viruses (e.g. Adenoviruses, Herpesviruses, Poxviruses), 2. ssDNA viruses (e.g. (+)sense DNA (e.g. Parvoviruses), 3. dsRNA viruses (e.g. Reoviruses), 4. (+)ssRNA viruses (+)sense RNA (e.g. Picornaviruses, Togaviruses), 5. (-)ssRNA viruses (-)sense RNA (e.g. Orthmyxoviruses, Rhabdoviruses), 6. ssRNA-RT viruses (+)sense RNA with DNA intermediate in life-cycle (e.g. Retroviruses), 7. dsDNA-RT viruses (e.g. Hepadnaviruses)

T. Biology: Biologists teach us that there are Seven life processes for all living things. The 7 life processes are: 1. Movement (Moving), 2. Reproduction, 3. Sensitivity (Touching and Tasting), 4. Nutrition (Food), 5. Excretion (Going to the toilet), 6. Respiration (sweating), 7. Growth (Growing).

U. Chemistry: The periodic table of the chemical elements is a tabular method of displaying the chemical elements. There are Seven periods, or horizontal rows of elements, in the periodic table.

V. Genetics: This may be trivial, but it was not the lethal – 5 or 6 micro RNA gene family discovery that
launched the RNA revolution that changed the face of modern biology, but the let – 7 gene family. It is now known that RNA control the chemistry of life, regulate cellular and genetic processes throughout the human body, and are critical factors in the determination of health, disease and longevity.

W. Public Health Model: There are Seven Dimensions to the Public Health Model: 1. Universal, 2. Selective, 3. Indicated, 4. Case Identification, 5. Standard Treatment for Known Disorders, 6. Compliance with Long-term Treatment (Goal: Reduction in Relapse and Recurrence), 7. Aftercare (including Rehabilitation)

X. 7 – Dimension Model: In 2005, the “Addictions Recovery Measurement System (ARMS),” was published – describing the following seven life-functioning therapeutic activity dimensions for progress outcome measurements.  Each of the seven dimensions is interrelated with the public health models’ focus on the individual within the psychosocial environment. The above series of sevens are also interrelated with the following Seven Energies, Abraham Maslow’s famous Hierarchical Pyramid of Needs, and our Seven senses (and you were taught that we only had five). We need to consider that some individuals are more in touch with their extra-sensory perceptions.

Life-functioning Dimensions: 1. Medical/ Physical, 2. Self-regulation/ Impulse-control, 3. Educational/ Occupational, 4. Social/ Cultural, 5. Financial/ Legal, 6. Mental/ Emotional, 7. Spiritual/ Religious

Y. 7 – Dimension Intervention: This 7 – Dimensional health and wellness outcome measure was further
developed into an assessment and treatment process for stress management incorporating the following three screening instruments:

Guidelines for implementing a 7 Dimension Intervention

1. Start the interview with the “Open question” technique to elicit as much detailed information as possible from the client, prior to administering any questionnaires or checklists (Utilize reflective listening skills, etc.).
2. Administer the ACE questions and calculate the ACE score.
3. Administer the 7D – PSI and calculate scores.
4. Administer the 7D – TAS and calculate scores and plot all scores on the Wheel of Life to visualize the diathesis levels, current psycho-social stressor levels, and the current efforts to decrease stress and build resiliency.
5. Administer the “Stages of Change” question: On a scale of 1 to 10 – with 10 representing the highest motivation for change that you have at this time, how motivated are you?

Pre-contemplation Stage = 1 – 3
Contemplation Stage = 4 – 5
Preparation Stage = 6 – 7
Action Stage = 8 – 9
Maintenance Stage = 10

6. Provide a “Motivational Interviewing” session with your client discussing the “Stages of Change.” The brevity of this article does not allow for an overview of this session (Tomlin, K. & Richardson, H., 2004)

7. Develop a holistic multidimensional health and wellness plan and a comprehensive individualized treatment plan if necessary along with a case management and treatment monitoring system.

Z. Alternative Medicine/ Energy Therapies: Considering that our bodies have over 70 trillion cells with electrical properties, much like that of a battery, and that they totally regenerate approximately every Seven years, we must be proactive in developing and sustaining a proactive individual health and wellness plan. It’s also interesting to note that different cultures/ countries have different names for the same energy or Life Force.

LifeForces: 1. Africa (Ashe), 2. Hawaiian (Mana), 3. India (Prana, 4. Greece (Pneuma, 5. China (Chi), 6. Japan (Ki), 7. Christianity (Holy Spirit)

In view of the above, the following 7 – Dimension Energy Therapies and therapeutic activities are recommended to maintain the Seven energy levels.

Energy Therapies: 1. Chiropractor/ Osteopath/ Herbal Medicine, 2. Therapeutic Massage/ Reflexology, 3. Art Therapies, 4. Dance Therapies, 5. Music/ Singing Therapies, 6. Acupuncture/ Electric Medicine (Alpha-Stim), 7. Light Therapies/ Meditation/ Prayer

Summary

It’s interesting to note that from the farthest reaches of the cosmos to the atomic structure of a single cell within the body, the same dimensions of form and mathematics apply. The secret to life is in these forms and numbers. So by studying anything in life, we can learn the basis of all life everywhere. Modern scientists are reaffirming the ancient wisdom observed in their world and taught in their myths: that a consistent multidimensional design underpins every level of the universe, from atoms to the galaxies.

7 Dimension Theory of Everything: Considering that the basic fundamental building blocks of our Universe are based on 7 Dimensions and that health and wellness can be facilitated and mental and emotional healing can be enhanced by using alternative energy therapies, I propose the following to better organize the information in my world and to better manage my own life:

1. Everything has a beginning and an end that transforms everything into a new beginning.
2. Everything from the microcosm to the macrocosm is made of 7 dimensions of energy.
3. Everything is connected to everything multi-dimensionally.
4. Everything is communicating positive and negative messages with everything multi-dimensionally.
5. Everything is maintained by a holistic, dynamically balanced system with a multidimensional semi-stable equilibrium force field of driving and restraining forces.
6. Everything disrupts everything when the system is disrupted by an unbalanced system.
Everything is in the process of restoring balance to everything.

I also believe in synergy or the combined effects produced by two or more parts, elements or individuals that is a ubiquitous phenomenon in nature and human societies alike.

The 7 – Dimensional Law of Synergism

Whenever two or more dimensions are focused on simultaneously for a significant period of time and
infinitesimally small, but positive incremental changes are made there is a positive synergistic effect
(depending on the intensity of dark and/ or light energy manifested), that spiritually elevates and connects an individual’s multiple life functioning dimensions by reducing chaos and increasing resilience to bring an individual harmony, wellness, and productivity.

One last note:  I previously mentioned that it was not my intention to get into a theological debate on the existence of God in this article, but to initially put forth some background information that seemingly supports a 7- Dimension theory of everything. In light of the above, one must consider the possibility that the origin of the Universe could just be a random case of “Lucky Sevens.” If this is the case, then it would take more faith to believe in a God-less Big Bang – then it would to believe in divine intelligence.

Agnostics are ungrateful bastards to God!

Agnostics are ungrateful bastards to God!

Agnostics, are ungrateful bastards to God. They do not believe in God for three main reasons. First, God to them, must have an image in the mind in order to be accepted. Second, they claim if God made the universe then who made God. Third, they claim that if the origin of the universe cannot be proven, it cannot be the work of God.

In answer to these three arguments we can reply. First, God is outside the predictability of man’s mind. God is not a man, nor a woman, nor an object. He has neither form or shape, and He is no subject to space and time. Everything else in the universe as submitted to material dimension in space and time. God is the creator of matter, space and time. He is extra time, extra space and extra matter. T

o necessitate God to a conceivable image needs to make God subject to all these three criteria namely, matter, space and time. He is without and He is the creator of the three dimensions.

Subjecting God to man’s own dimensions is a naïve outlook demanded by agnostics. They are humans and He is not. They are created and he is the creator: big difference qualitatively.

The second premise deals with the question of, ‘if God made the universe who made God?’ This question is as naïve as the first pretext. God is not man and is not a created thing, but He is all creating and all making.

God is not a created object but the creator of objects. The limited minds of agnostics do what they see and what they sense, where most scientists belong, lead them conjecture and consider that God is like any other thing in the universe need to be created. He is the creator and He is not created.

The third argument deals with the idea of the origin of the universe that cannot be proven and hence no proof can produced for God’s existence. The origin of the universe is proclaimed to be by religion as God. God is the originator of the universe and all that within it. If the origin of the universe cannot be proven why should not a God be responsible for its creation? T

he dilemma of the origin of the universe cannot be bases for denying God as the originator. God can be at the origin of the universe even if, and especially even though if, the origin cannot be proven. One leads to the other, nothing stops this logic.

However, agnostics blind themselves by naïve arguments for they simply do not believe in God. Whether they are absolute deniers, atheists, or skeptics or even doubters, they have rejected the idea of God because of their personal convictions and they produce false arguments. For, lack of proof for or against the existence of God, all arguments for or against are sterile. No one argument for against the existence of God can be valid.

What is sure is that such deniers of God reject God for their own personal reasons and individual convictions, free from any valid argumentations.

What is sure is that they see the universe and deny the possibility of a creator.

What ungrateful bastards they can be to the creator who put their atoms together and that of the universe, who gave them life, provided them with sight and hearing, mind to understand, food and homes.

But a bastard remains a bastard until his, or her, death: then by what arguments can he, or she, believe, especially when they are called to account for their ingratitude and disbelief in God on the day of judgment?

Surprise, surprise!

Assalamaleykum Arahmatullahi va Barakatu, may the peace & blessings of Allah be upon all of you. Welcome back to the proof that Islam is the Truth. And we’ve been talking about some of the amazing miracles of the Quran & the scientific miracles, those facts that can be found in the Quran, that leave us awe-struck. How could this information be in a book 1400 years old? And we were looking at those verses in the Quran concerning the development of the human foetus in the womb & we were also reading a Hadeeth of the Prophet Muhammad may Allah’s peace & blessings be upon him.

When the Prophet Muhammad mentioned that the 42 nights have passed over the conceptus Allah sends an angel to it who shapes it, makes it ears & eyes & skin & flesh & bones & then he says: “Oh, Lord, is it a male or a female?” And your Lord decides what he wishes & an angel records it. So it is at the 42nd day or just after the 40th day that it only then becomes identifiable. And this is a fact. This is a scientific fact. And it’s very interesting, it’s true also that the Prophet Muhammad may God’s peace & blessings be upon him mentioned that there are some things that the knowledge of it is only known to Allah Subhana Wa Ta Allah.

And one of the things that Prophet mentioned is what is the sex of the child in the womb. As one of the Muslim scholars pointed out is that this is only up until the 40th day. Because after the 40th day according to this authentic Hadeeth of the Prophet Sallalahu Alleyhem Va Salam, may God’s peace & blessings be upon him, the angels know , the angel was in the womb shaping the conseptus, shaping the embryo, asks: “Is it a male or a female?” And so from that time of course the angel knows & if the angel knows, as the scholar pointed out, anyone can know. So this is also a truly amazing statement of scientific accuracy & this is information that in reality we have only begun to discover recently.

We also find that the Hdeeth mentions the correct time for the recognisable growth of the features described & the sex of the foetus can only definitely be determined after 42 days. Now this piece of information was only known after the invention of powerful microscopes only decades ago. Now I’ve only mentioned the subject of the developing human being in the Quran & the Hdeeth of the Prophet Muhammad briefly. There is of course a vast amount of literature available if you would like to study this subject more & it’s very easily available on the internet & indeed Dr Zakir Nike has produced a very nice book called “Modern science in the light of the Quran & Sunnah” So you can get hold of that from the Islamic research foundation Isha Allah if you want to explore that area more.

But what I thought I would do is mention a quote from Keith Moore who is the professor & chairman of the department of anatomy from the University of Toronto in Canada. And Keith Moore is one of the acknowledged experts in the field of the developing human being in its embryonic form. And his book “the developing human” is & has been for many years a standard textbook in universities & colleges all over the world. It’s been translated into numerous different languages.

And he was shown some of these statements in the Quran & the Hadeeth or sayings of the Prophet Muhammad concerning the development of the human embryo, & having studied them he came to a conclusion. And this is what he said: “Until the 19th century nothing was known about the classification of the stages of human development. A system of staging human embryos was developed around the end of the 19th century based upon alphabetical symbols. And during the 20th century numerals were used to describe 23 stages of embryonic development. This system of numbering the stages is not easy to follow & a better system would be based on the morphological changes.

In recent years the study of the Quran revealed another basis for the classification of the stages of developing embryo, which is based on easily understood actions and changes in shape. It utilizes terms that were used and sent by God to Prophet Muhammad by the Angel Gabriel and recorded in the Quran” And he goes on to say: “It is clear to me that these statements must have come to Muhammad from God because almost all of this knowledge was not discovered until many centuries later. This proves to me that Muhammad must have been a Messenger of God or Allah.

” Dear viewers, you need to think about this. He is one of the experts, perhaps the expert in the field, examining the information that is in the Quran & that has been mentioned on the tongue of the Prophet Muhammad. And he is saying that not only is it impossible for the information to have been known by anyone 1400 years ago. He also suggests that modern embryology should follow the system of development that has been mentioned in the Quranic verses. In other words the Quran has described the developments of the human embryo so beautifully & so effectively that this should be the basis upon which scientific textbooks are founded from now on. This is what Keith Moore is saying. So this is really a truly remarkable statement from a truly remarkable scientist who by the way has become a Muslim.

How did the Prophet Muhammad developed this information? From where did a man living in a desert 1400 years ago know, from where did he get the knowledge? this is the question that you have to ask. This is the question that you have to examine. The next theme we want to look at is the water cycle. The water cycle. That is the cycle of water where the Sun heats the sea & causes evaporation & from that evaporation we have clouds forming & how the winds move those clouds & from that rain falls.

Now the Quran accurately describes water cycle & the origin of underground springs. And we are going to be talking about that after the break, so whatever you do don’t go away, because we have some more amazing facts for you in the proof that Islam is the Truth. Salam Allaeykum, welcome back to the proof that Islam is the Truth. And we are going through some of the amazing scientific statements in the Quran. Things that was impossible for Prophet Muhammad to have known 1400 years ago. Now one of the things we want to talk about is the water cycle. Now it may seem very obvious to us today about the water cycle. And for example the origin of underground springs.

But the ancient Greeks for example didn’t seem to get it right despite all of their philosophy & their knowledge & their ability they actually theorised that underground springs were a product of spray that came off the sea & collected in caves. And then the spray that came off the sea & collected in cave dripped down into the underground reservoirs through a great sea called the “abyss”. In fact it was not until the 18th century that the water cycle was really accurately described. Yet the Quran says 1400 years ago in the 39th sura in the 21st ayat: “have you not seen that Allah sent water down from the sky & led it through sources into the ground.” This is a simple but in fact highly accurate description of the water cycle.

Another amazing fact that is mentioned in the Quran we find in the 24th sura of the Quran in the 40th verse. And it’s talking about the states of those people who disbelieve & reject faith in God. The Quran describes the state of the disbeliever, the person who has rejected faith. “Like a darkness, a darkness that is so dark it is like the deep depths of darkness in a vast deep ocean overwhelmed with wave upon wave topped by a cloud, if a man stretches out his hand – he can hardly see it.

For any to whom Allah gives no light there is no light.” Now on the surface here Allah is giving a simple description. A person who does not believe in God & does not follow the guidance that Allah has sent down is a person who is in darkness. They are lost. Their life is a confusion. In fact their life is so confusing they can hardly see what is in front of them. This is how Allah is describing it: “Darkness upon darkness”, confusion upon confusion. He can hardly see or understand what is happening. If God does not give a person light – there is no light. So it is describing a type of absence of light, of being able to see or know really what is truly going on.

And so this is the case that is described. So on the surface we have a very poetic, we have a very strong & vigorous & amazing description of this darkness & the state of being lost. Yet when we examine it in more detail there is something else going on here as well. There is a clue to some scientific truths.

First of all the Quran describes the vast deep ocean & it describes waves upon waves. Now of course most of us are familiar with the waves that are on top of the ocean. But what does it mean “waves upon waves”? Are there other waves in the ocean? Well, we are going to find out. Also the Quran about a person being deprived of light that they can hardly see. Now a ray of light is composed of seven colours: violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange & red. And light when it hits water goes through what is called refraction. That mean that for example in the upper 10 to 15 meters the water absorbs the red colour & as you go deeper each of the colours in the spectrum become absorbed by the water until you get to a depth of below about 1000 meters there is complete darkness.

Now what is amazing is that we also find in modern scientific discoveries that internal waves cover the deep waters of the seas & oceans. Because the deep waters have a higher density than the waters above them. So “waves upon waves”: we have the internal waves in the deep-deep ocean & then we have the waves on top of the ocean & then the clouds & so on & so forth. They add to the darkness & disparity & the breaking up & the refracting of light. Now what is interesting is the deep darkness, remember what the Quran says: “they stretch out their hand they can hardly see it”. This deep darkness begins below the internal waves in the ocean.

In fact there are certain fish down at those depths which need their own lights in order to be able to see. And amazingly Allah has created these creatures that can actually generate their own lights. Now this is really amazing because of course very recently no one has been able to penetrate & to reach those deep parts of the ocean. It is only with extremely sophisticated modern machinery & submarines & diving suits that someone has been able to go down to that depth. Yet we have the Quran 1400 years ago describing the internal waves of the oceans & the darkness that is there at the depths of the oceans. How on Earth, how in the heavens could a man living in the desert 1400 years ago have known about such detailed information about a science like oceanography? Well, professor Rao who is an expert in marine biology at the king Abdul Aziz university in Jeddah says: “1400 years ago a normal human being could not explain this phenomenon in so much detail. This information must have been coming from a supernatural source.”

My dear viewers, this even is not the end of the amazing scientific statements in the Quran. Because the next thing I’m going to deal with is cosmology, the statements in the Quran concerning the universe. Now until recently, or we could say up until the 1960s there was a major controversy between scientists concerning the state of the Universe. Some scientists believe & have begun to develop the idea that the Universe is in the state of flux, that the Universe was in fact expanding.

And from this theory of expanding Universe also came another theory which is commonly known today as the Big Bang theory. This is the idea that the Universe had a common origin in a singularity, in a dense, condensed type of matter. The Universe was infinitely small we could say part of dense matter & this infinitely small dense matter then exploded into what is the Universe that we know today. Now this was opposed by the static state theory, the static state theory. And this was very much preferred theory of atheists, that the Universe was the way it was eternally in the past & will keep on being that way eternally in the future.

And this was a theory that was really largely based at least initially & was believed in by Albert Einstein. And many people therefore followed on from that, with this idea of the static state theory. And so this idea of the Big Bang theory which was you know really held by Fred Hoyle. He was the person who supported this theory & Lemaitre who was opposing it with the idea of the Big Bang theory. Now evidence came to light that showed that variations in the light spectrum that were being emitted from galaxies & stars, which is called “Red shift” showed in fact that the Universe is expanding. And it’s amazing that this scientific fact, that has now been confirmed, & it is agreed upon by almost unanimously all scientists in the field, that we live in an expanding universe.

And the evidence very-very clearly & strongly suggest that. What does the Quran said 1400 years ago? Before there were telescopes & all the means to discover this information the Quran says in the 51st sura in the 47th ayat: “The Heaven, We have built it with power & we are expanding it.” Lets just repeat that again: “The Heaven, We have built it with power & we are expanding it.” 1400 years ago the Quran is mentioning how the Universe is expanding. The next most important observational evidence was the discovery of cosmic microwave background radiation in 1964 by a powerful telescope. And this had been predicted in the Big Bang theory as a relic of the hot-ionised plasma of the early Universe when it first cooled sufficiently to form neutral hydrogen & allowed space to become transparent to light.

And its discovery led to the general acceptance among physicists that the Big Bang is the best model for the origin & evolution of the Universe. What does the Quran say in the 21st sura in the 30th ayat? “Have not those who disbelieved known that the Heavens & the Earth were joined together as one united piece, then We parted them. And we have made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?” The common origin of the Universe or the singularity that scientists believe today the Universe originated from & which lead to the Big Bang. It is considered that the conditions of this singularity were so precise it is almost inconceivable that it could be in that way except that it has been made by an All-wise & powerful Creator. These are some of the amazing things that the Quran is telling us about the origin of the Universe.

The Quran also mentions that Allah turned to the Heavens when it was Dukhan. And the word dukhan in Arabic means smoke. This also accurately describes the hot gaseous mass of the Universe before the galaxies & the stars began to be formed. So here we have the Quran 1400 years ago talking about the expanding Universe, talking about the common origin of the Universe, that the Heavens & the Earth were one, talking about the gaseous state the smoke-like state of the early Universe.

This is in a book 1400 years old. Mentioning facts that scientists have only began to discover today & we have created from every living thing water. It’s a fact that every living thing has its basis in & is fundamentally composed of water. You & me are about 70 to 80 % water. We are made of about 70 to 80 % water. The fact that has been mentioned in the Quran 1400 years ago. Will you not believe? Will you now not believe? What will it take to make you realise & to understand that the Quran is the Truth? That Muhammad is the Messenger of God? This is more evidence, the proof that Islam is the Truth. Join us for the next episode when we will be going through some more amazing facts from the Quran. Until then Assalamaleykum Arahmatullahi va Barakatu, may the peace & blessings of Allah & his guidance be with all of you.

Is The Big Bang A Cosmic Blunder?

Is The Big Bang A Cosmic Blunder?
from shopndrop.com

For years scientists have been telling us how the universe began. Do we really know? Or do we need another six billions years to figure it out?

To date, our space explorations, manned and unmanned, have uncovered a world of intriguing, perplexing, puzzling, fascinating, and even awe-inspiring phenomena. Whether we understand it or not, the universe we live in seems to be a highly organized system or set of smaller systems functioning in harmony. All of its components work within a framework of very structured, precise, and clearly defined laws of nature. If this were not so, the universe could not possibly have survived in its present state of complexity for any long period of time, certainly not for thousands of years. If the laws of gravity were to cease functioning for only one moment, all orbiting bodies throughout the universe would move into different orbits. For life on earth, this would be catastrophic. If the “strong force” which holds together sub-atomic particles were to cease functioning, all matter in the universe would disintegrate. Obviously, the laws of nature function every moment of every day, with utmost precision.

Our universe contains atomic and sub-atomic particles not visible to the naked eye and sometimes not even visible with sophisticated instruments. It also contains planets, stars, huge galaxies spanning hundreds of thousands of lightyears across space — some of which are so far from earth that they appear as mere specks in the sky — and galaxies billions of lightyears apart. The laws of nature are so complex that they support millions of forms of life on our planet while maintaining the integrity of the cosmos as a whole. It would be difficult, if not impossible, for the most intelligent human being to even imagine a more complex system, let alone come up with a functioning design of anything nearly as complex.

And as much as modern man has already learned, we’re just beginning to see the tip of the iceberg concerning the complexities of the laws of nature. There have been people who have devoted virtually their entire lives to discovering and studying the laws of nature. Doctors have studied medicine. Astronomers have studied the skies. Biologists have studied vast numbers of life forms. Physicists have studied the laws of nature governing the cosmos right down to those governing events on the quantum level. And the list goes on. Yet, not one of these endeavors has thus far resulted in the complete knowledge of even one subject. I’m not talking about knowing everything about every subject. I’m talking about knowing everything about only one subject. It hasn’t happened yet. And you’d think that after all the scientific discoveries, achievements, and sophistication of the twenty-first century, such knowledge might at least lie in the foreseeable future. But that doesn’t seem to be the case either. In many instances, it’s quite the contrary. Some branches of science seem to become increasingly elusive in direct proportion to our sophistication. For the “cut and dried” physical world this is supposed to be, this kind of complexity almost rivals spiritualism itself.

Now, an intelligent person would ask himself, “Where did all this complex ingenuity come from?”

A ‘BIG BANG?’

There is a theory generally referred to by scientists as the “big bang.” No, it has nothing to do with the fourth of July. When the fourth of July ends, we’re usually left with a lot of exploded shreds of garbage. When this purported “big bang” ended, it allegedly left us with debris which somehow evolved into a highly complex and organized universe. How? Beats the heck out me. Let’s see if it beats the heck out of you.

Big-bang theorists hold that the universe roughly fifteen or twenty billion years ago. There was this “something or other” which exploded. Since then the universe has been expanding. Everything in it evolved from the stuff of that explosion.

Let’s see if we understand this. In spite of the fact that just about any kind of an explosion we could cause would result in nothing but chaos and destruction, we’re being told, against all logic, that an explosion is what began the process of building the inconceivably complex system we now call our universe. Isn’t that a bit like saying that if you blew up a Rubik’s cube the little pieces could conceivably become more complex than the original cube? It is common sense that an explosion will create a general state of fragmentation and disarray. After ripping a system apart, isn’t it rather absurd to expect the resulting chaos to become more intricate and organized than the original system? When you think about it, after an explosion, it is unrealistic to expect a system to even maintain its previous level of complexity, let alone evolve into something more complex.

An example: If you took every nut, bolt, and part necessary for the construction of a car, piled them up on top of a bomb, and blew them up, would you ever expect the parts to fall down into a functioning car by mere chance? How many times would you say you’d have to blow the pieces up to get a functioning car? Fifteen million? Seventeen billion? Or do you think it could never happen? Sure the pieces would fall into different configurations and shapes after each explosion — configurations which may be pleasant to look at with an abstract, artistic eye. Configurations which may even inspire you with thoughts like, “Where’s the broom?” But to think that you could eventually get into a car and drive off is confusing the laws of probability with intelligent design. If you blow up the pieces of a car, all you will ever get is a pile of junk. And maybe a few lumps on your head from falling debris. But that’s about it.

The scientifically accepted theory of the origin and evolution of our universe says, in effect, that if you blew up the parts of a car you could get a lot more than just a car — you could accidentally get a supersonic jet or a space shuttle! This is a better story than what used car dealers give you.

UNSUPPORTED BY SCIENCE ITSELF

If the idea that chaos cannot accidentally turn into design and organization makes sense to you, congratulations! You have something of a knack for thermodynamics. The second law of thermodynamics states that energy decreases in utility, moving from a state of order to disorder and finally to a stage of randomness and decay.

The notion that a “big bang” can be the seed for a universe such as ours is in direct violation of this law. In a big bang scenario, rather than order turning into disorder, the precise opposite happens — chaos not only turns into organization, but into an ingenious system of mind boggling complexity. This doesn’t coincide with scientific principles, and it certainly doesn’t hold up logically.

When confronted with the second law of thermodynamics as it relates to the evolution of life, many scientists respond that this law does not apply to an “open system.” Earth, they say, is an open system since it is influenced by extraterrestrial systems. So, let’s say you cannot use this argument against life on earth. But, how do you do away with the second law of thermodynamics when it comes to the entire universe? The entire universe cannot possibly be an open system — there are no outside systems to influence it. Even if we were to discover “other universes” (of anti-matter, for example), it would still not make our universe an open system. Anything we discover becomes part of the “big picture” of our entire universe or part of one big super universe. Thus, after all is included, we inevitably wind up with one huge closed system. How did this entire system turn into a workable machine of inconceivable sophistication by accident?

Answer: It didn’t, because it couldn’t.

There is no logical or scientific basis whatsoever for an entire universe to develop out of chaos. Such an occurrence would need an “outside” force. And since we’ve already included literally “everything” in our definition of “our universe,” there are no outside forces left. Consequently, since our universe is in existence and is in a complex state, its only possible origin would have to be a force not within the confines of our physical world. In short, we’d be talking about a force unlike anything we are acquainted with on a physical or scientific level — quite conceivably something of a spiritual nature. Perhaps it is this spiritual aspect, the only true logical option, which scientists are trying to avoid.

Without getting involved in the spiritual implications of our physical universe for the moment, let us note what is relevant here: the structure of our universe, like genetics, shows a high degree of intelligence and sophistication in its design and implementation. Perhaps the intelligence required is so overwhelming that some individuals simply find it too mind-boggling to consider. But attributing the super-phenomenal feat of the development of our universe to an accident of chance is not the answer. Aside from it not being scientific, it falls somewhat short of sound, level-headed thinking. There’s certainly no evidence supporting such an accident. The mere existence of our universe does not prove it was formed by accident. If anything, our universe does give every indication of having been designed with intelligence. Studying just about any branch of science will tell you, without any great reasoning abilities, that there is intelligence in the design and implementation of the laws of nature on every level. So, it might be more scientific to take this into account rather than adopt a fantasy which cannot be scientifically or logically substantiated.

THE DOUBLE STANDARD

There seems to be a double standard in logic by which some people accept scientific theories. When the layman accepts theories of evolution without possessing much knowledge of them, he obviously puts his trust and faith in those who perpetuate these theories. This trust is sometimes expressed as “they’re the scientists, they must know what they’re talking about.” And it is this kind of blind allegiance which sets the layman’s science-related logic on a different level than the logic he uses in daily life.

How so?

To date, virtually every planet and moon explored in our solar system has proved to be full of inexplicable puzzles, mysteries, and contradictions of theories (as pointed out in other chapters in EvolutionDead.com). Some of these discoveries are beyond present scientific understanding. Some are even beyond anything we expect to understand in years to come. In addition, some events outside our solar system are so baffling that scientists can only explain them with strange entities like black holes and quasars, which are themselves only theoretical. Some events outside our solar system cannot be explained even with theoretical science. Some events on the quantum level are so baffling that they seem to defy common sense and logic.

So, how is it that when it comes to explaining “how it all began,” scientists give the impression of having a sufficient understanding of the laws of nature governing the entire universe allegedly billions of years ago? Wouldn’t one first need at least an impeccable understanding of what is happening in his own backyard, our solar system, before explaining the mechanics of the entire universe? Surely the entire universe is more complex than our “puny little” solar system. And wouldn’t such an “expert” have to possess an impeccable understanding of quantum mechanics as well as the mechanics of distant heavenly bodies in his own time before attempting to describe events which allegedly brought all of these entities into existence billions of years ago? Certainly events billions of years in the past cannot be easier to decipher than events in our own time. So how can anyone seriously claim to understand how our universe developed into its present state?

Perhaps it is necessary to go into the dimensions of our universe to put this question into proper perspective:

The diameter of our sun is about 865,400 miles. Our solar system is about 9 billion miles in diameter. Our nearest neighbors outside our solar system are the stars Proxima and Alpha Centtauri, each about 4 lightyears away. (One lightyear is about 6 trillion miles, the distance light travels — at 186,000 miles per second — in one year.) These stars are only two of the billions of stars which make up our galaxy, the Milky Way. An average galaxy is believed to have a diameter of approximately 100,000 lightyears. The Milky Way is only one galaxy in a local group of 30 galaxies spanning a total of about 3 million lightyears across space — if you travelled at the unimaginable speed of light, it would take you about 3 million years to cross this local group of only 30 galaxies.

It is estimated that there are at least fifty billion galaxies in the universe.

When you think about these proportions for a moment, you begin to realize the awesomeness of this place we so casually refer to as our universe.

Then, after hearing the theories behind the phenomena believed to exist deep in space — black holes, supergiants, supernovae, quasars, pulsars, neutron stars — you begin to realize that the “other end” of the universe is not only far away but also holds wonders which only a few years ago would have been considered somewhere between science fiction and the absurd. Even today, most of these objects are speculative and far from pat concepts.

Is this the universe which came into existence through a series of accidents billions of years ago? And who are the ones perpetuating this? The same people who have given us “pat” answers about our own solar system in our own time?

We do not yet understand how phenomena deep in space work in our time. We do not yet understand how our solar system works in our time. We do not yet completely understand how our own planet, earth, works in our time. We do not yet understand how many living organisms on our planet work in our time. We do not yet understand how even some small organisms of the bacteria and virus variety work in our time. We do not yet understand how sub-atomic particles, so fundamental to our existence, work in our time. But, somehow, we do understand the process which allegedly brought all of this into being billions of years ago and caused it to evolve. Is someone pulling our leg?

How can anyone simply accept theories of how a universe of such unimaginable proportions and complexity came into being from the same scientists who seem so confused every time we send a rocket to explore an area of space only a stone’s throw from earth? How can anyone accept theories of the origin of our universe, which implicitly include the origin of the basic elements of matter and life, when these same elements are not yet understood today? Isn’t it obvious that our comprehension of the universe is shallow, at best?

SHORTCOMINGS OF OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE BIG BANG

In 1998 scientists discovered something that baffled the heck out of them. Our understanding of the expanding universe was that it might eventually collapse under its own gravitational pull. Or, if its gravitational pull was not strong enough, it would just keep expanding, but at a slower rate, much like any other explosion.

What scientists discovered, however, was that the universe’s rate of expansion was speeding up! This was absolutely astounding. There was, and still is, no science to explain this. Sure we have more theories (dark matter, being the major one), but at the moment it’s all a big mystery.

What this boils down to is that we’ve had pretty much of a “pat” theory for about a half a century, based on what we thought was solid science. Then, reality threw us a curve, and our most fundamental understanding of the universe went out the window.

WHERE’S THE LOGIC

This is where the big puzzle of the double standard comes in. The greatest mystery of all is how some people put trust and faith into scientific theories when, given the same circumstances in a more practical situation, the absurdity would be conspicuously obvious to them. Suppose you had your bicycle checked out by a mechanic who gave you a three hour speech on how bicycles work. He described in depth the physics of pulleys, gears, momentum, and friction, then told you that your bike was in excellent shape. But the moment you got on your bike it fell apart. Would you go back to the same “mechanic” to have your car checked out? Would you fly a plane that had been okayed by this mechanic? Who, in his right mind, would reason, “He may be dishonest or ignorant about bicycles, but, after that speech on pulleys and gears, he must be competent when it comes to planes and other complicated mechanics.” Most people would not allow this crook to adjust their kites, let alone evaluate the condition of their planes.

Why, then, does it not seem odd to these same people that scientists have little problem figuring out how a vast and complex universe with the staggering dimensions of hundreds of billions of lightyears of space allegedly worked billions of years ago, yet have difficulty understanding how our “drop in the bucket” solar system works today? How do scientists go from relative ignorance of the laws of nature of our own solar system in our own time to a well rounded understanding of the forces behind the entire universe in a time long gone?

The answer, of course, is that scientists obviously do not have a well rounded understanding of the physics and mechanics of our universe today, and certainly cannot have any kind of a decent understanding of the universe in the past. The objective here is not to malign scientists. They obviously do understand the science behind cell phones, rockets, heart surgery, etc. We have proof of that. But how the universe (or life, for that matter) began, that’s a different story. Readily accepting accounts of the origin and evolution of our universe only shows a tolerance for misinformation in scientific matters which goes far beyond what one would accept in more practical circumstances. If you find these theories fun, that’s great. But if truth is of concern to you, proceed with caution.
